Man dead after being struck by New Jersey Transit bus in Philadelphia, police say
A man died after he was hit by a bus near Independence Mall in Philadelphia Sunday evening, police said.
A New Jersey Transit bus hit the man around 5:50 p.m. on Arch Street, according to Philadelphia police. Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Police are investigating.
