New Jersey Shore Town Bans Music Devices On Beach
SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. (CBS) -- If you're hitting the beach at one New Jersey shore town, in the next couple of months, it may be a little more quiet than you're used to.
Starting Friday, Seaside Heights has placed a ban on speakers, boom boxes and other music devices while on the beach.
The ban is a part of a 60 day experiment at the shore town. It is the result of complaints by many beach goers about loud music.
Lifeguards will be on the lookout for violators.
