New Jersey Reports No New COVID-19 Deaths For First Time Since March 2020

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A major milestone today in the fight against COVID-19. New Jersey reported no new coronavirus deaths Tuesday.

That's the first time since March 17, 2020 -- during the early days of the pandemic -- that no one has died due to COVID-19 in the Garden State.

Gov. Phil Murphy credits the vaccines for the improving numbers.
