New Jersey Gas Prices Still Falling

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Motorists continue to see lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in the state on Friday was $3.15, down 2 cents from last week. That's also lower than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.29.

This marks the third straight week that gas prices have fallen in New Jersey.

The national average price on Friday was $3.32, down 2 cents from last week. That's also lower than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.38.

Analysts say gas prices will likely continue to fall in the coming weeks, citing decreased demand and lower crude oil prices. They also note that retailers are now selling cheaper winter blends of gasoline.
