Delaware Valley Bracing For First Snowfall Of The Season

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The snow has been a bit delayed Saturday morning for much of the Delaware Valley, due to some very dry air that has been in place.

The air is expected to continue to saturate this morning as snow eventually overspreads the region from south to north. The bulk of the accumulation will likely occur Saturday afternoon as we get into some steadier snowfall. Otherwise, our snowfall forecast remains the same, the only adjustment is for our shore-points… some rain/sleet may mix in from time to time, bringing those totals down.

The snow will taper off from west to east Saturday night.
