Neulander Conspirator Paul Daniels Released From Prison After 14 Years

WRIGHTSTOWN, N.J. (CBS) -- A second man convicted of pulling off a murder-for-hire on the wife of a South Jersey rabbi has been released from prison after serving a 14-year jail term for aggravated manslaughter.
Paul Daniels, now 40, is said to be remorseful even today for the 1994 murder of Carol Neulander.
Her husband, Fred Neulander, paid Daniels and Len Janoff $18,000 to kill Carol so he could carry on an affair with a former Philadelphia radio personality who was a member of his congregation.
"He is really just trying to acclimate himself back into the community," says Craig Mitnick of Paul Daniels, his client. "He's with his parents."
They live at the Jersey shore.
Mitnick says he hopes his client can now get on with his life.
Jenoff served a decade behind bars and was released in January. The rabbi is doing a life term for his role in the slaying.
