Nerlens Noel To Play Sunday Night Against Knicks

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Sixers have announced that Nerlens Noel will play on Sunday night when the Sixers take on the Knicks. Noel was knocked out of Saturday night's game in Charlotte due to a laceration to his eyelid.

Noel suffered the injury in the second quarter against the Hornets. Noel was attempting to block the shot of Hornets forward Noah Vonleh.

Without Noel's services in the second half, the Sixers lost to the Hornets 92-91.

Noel is averaging 14.4 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game in his last ten contests.

The Sixers are 18-59 on the season and take on the Knicks who are 14-62.
