PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Sixers fans have patiently awaited the official "arrival" of the team's top pick in 2013, Nerlens Noel. The big man out of Kentucky has been out and about this summer as he prepares for what will be his rookie season in the NBA.
Noel has worked to get himself into playing shape all over from Orlando to Las Vegas and also right here in Philadelphia. Today he did that in quite an iconic way by running the steps at The Philadelphia Museum of Art, perhaps better known as the "Rocky Steps."

Noel's classic workout was a part of a taping of the NBA's "NBA Rooks," series.
The Sixers big man also showed off his fun loving personality. That was somewhat hidden from fans last season who only got to see Noel sitting on the bench for the team.
Noel got the chance to crash a wedding that was going on at the museum as well.
