Water Back On For Dozens Of Residents Following Crescentville Water Main Break

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The water is back on for dozens of residents in Crescentville after a water main break.. Officials say an 8-inch water main ruptured near the 300 block of East Godfrey Avenue, around 3 a.m. Monday.

The rupture sent water gushing into the air, flooding the street.

Traffic was detoured in the area.

Crews have restored water service to about 60 homes in the area.
