Nearly 100 Displaced By Delco Apartment Fire

FOLCROFT, Pa. (CBS) --- High levels of carbon monoxide and code violations are keeping almost 100 people out of an apartment building in Delaware County this morning, following a fire last night.

Firefighters were called for a fire at the Glencroft Apartment Complex in Folcroft around 10 p.m. Monday, and were able to place the fire under control in about one hour.

While 21 people and three pets are staying with the Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the rest of the building's tenants haven't been allowed back in due to the high carbon monoxide levels, and concerns over structural damage.

Three people were treated for minor injuries, including one woman who was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but is believed to have started in a first floor unit.
