National Donut Day Sparks Social Media 'Outrage'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Public Health department is seemingly not a fan of #NationalDonutDay.
Using their Twitter handle, the department asked residents to swipe left to donut day. For those who are not on Tinder, swipe left means not interested. Here are just some of the things they had to say.
For those currently enjoying a donut, proceed with caution.

The Philadelphia Police even got in on the action.
When the health department asked for the officials help following social media donut outrage, the department posted something in celebration of the joyous 'holiday' instead.
"A lot of brave donuts will lose their lives - deliciously," the tweet said.
.@PHLPublicHealth We're observing a moment of silence. This is a solemn day. A lot of brave donuts will lose their lives - deliciously.

The Public Health department lowered their heads in defeat.
