Mt. Laurel Officials Ask Residents To Restrict Water Usage Due To Major Sewer Line Break

MOUNT LAUREL Twp., N.J., (CBS) – Officials in Mount Laurel, Burlington County are asking residents to restrict their water usage due to a major sewer line break.

Due to the location and size of the main, officials are currently estimating it could take until at least noon on Friday, Jan. 10th for the Sewer Department to fully repair.

During this time, officials say it is imperative that residents use as little water as possible.

If you detect a sewer backup into your property contact the Mount Laurel MUA immediately at 856-234-0062.

Officials issued the following instructions:

1. Restrict your water usage for the next 12 hours

2. Report sewage backups into properties to 856-234-0062
