Motorcycles Roar Through Northeast Philly To Honor Fallen Female Firefighter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Hundreds of motorcycles rolled through Northeast Philadelphia Saturday night as part of a special Warriors Watch ride.
Normally the group of bikers organize 'Welcome Home' rides for returning soldiers, but this ride was to honor a different kind of local hero - the first female firefighter killed in the line of duty in the city's history.
Ride organizer Tom Jones says fallen Philadelphia firefighter Joyce Craig is just as deserving for serving the community:
"To show the members of her family and the members she works with that we care about the job she's done for our community."
The hundreds of bikes fired up and rolled out onto the boulevard, before riding by Craig's home, and then heading to her firehouse, where a moment of silence was shared with Craig's brothers at Engine 64.
Jones says it was an emotional tribute, one that left the firefighters at a loss for words:
"There's not many times I'm speechless, but the show of support here is overwhelming."
Joyce Craig was killed while battling a fire in West Oak Lane on December 9th.
