Motive Sought For NJ Stabbing That Left 2 Injured

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (AP) — Authorities are seeking a motive for a stabbing in southern New Jersey that left two men injured.

Burlington County prosecutors say the victims were found around 2 a.m. Sunday in Maple Shade. Both suffered multiple wounds and were taken to a hospital.

A 27-year-old man was hospitalized in critical but stable condition with wounds to his abdomen, neck and face, while a 31-year-old man was treated and released for a wound to his lower abdomen.

Further details on the stabbing, including the names of the victims and the weapon the assailant used, were not released.

No arrests have been made.
