Mother Arrested After Leaving Child Alone Inside Car While Shopping In Upper Darby, Police Say

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (CBS) - A mother is facing charges after she allegedly left her 1-year-old child inside a vehicle on Thursday. Police say Denae Chavous left the child alone for more than 15 minutes while she went shopping.
The temperature hit the mid-80s on Thursday but the child was not hurt.
Police say Chavous also resisted arrest.
