Morrisville Avoids Shutdown, 1 Police Officer To Be Laid Off

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There will be no government shutdown in Morrisville, Bucks County.

Council Vice President Danielle Larison told CBS3 a judge ruled the mayor's tax veto is not effective.

While the town is not shutting down, one police officer will be laid off Jan. 1.
