Power Restored To Thousands In Bucks County

NEW HOPE, Pa. (CBS) – Fewer than 300 people are reportedly still without power in Bucks County.

According to PECO, just over 10,000 customers in Doylestown/New Hope and north were in the dark as of about 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The outage was reportedly affecting traffic signals in the area as well.

PECO said an issue at one of the substations caused the problem, and they were working to fix it.

As of about 5:45 p.m., PECO updated the outage number to fewer than 300. The company says it expects to restore power to the remaining customers within the hour.
