More Showers This Weekend

By Kathy Orr

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  Showers will end by dawn and skies will clear quickly, providing a sunny start to Saturday.

It will be a windy day, with gusts to 30 miles an hour, the high, around 70.

A secondary front will pass through in the afternoon, bringing scattered showers and even a chance of a thunderstorm.

In its wake, temperatures will drop Sunday. With sunshine and breezy conditions, temperatures will rise to 63 degrees.

Monday will stay mild and sunny, with highs in the 60s again.

Next week, we head into the month of May, but it will not feel like it.

Tuesday, an upper-level low pressure system will slowly move toward our area.  An onshore flow, (Easterly wind) will develop, keeping it cool and damp for at least three days.

Highs Tuesday through Thursday will be 10-15 degrees below average.

Enjoy the weekend!
