More Rain And Temperatures Plunged

By Kathy Orr

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A warm, humid and unstable air mass lingers over the Delaware Valley, giving us a chance of a shower or thunderstorm Wednesday morning and midday.

A "backdoor front," will move into our area from the Northeast Wednesday bringing in a cool ocean air mass. Expect plenty of low clouds and showers, especially in the afternoon.

The cool air really settles in Thursday, with highs only in the 60's, but at least sunshine will return.

Temperatures rebound Friday, highs will be in the mid 70's, but a cold front will bring an afternoon shower or thunderstorm.

The weekend will be warm with highs in the upper 70's both days and a good deal of sunshine - a great way to kick off the month of June!
