Montgomery County Woman Reaches Out To Public For Help Finding Missing Heirlooms

UPDATE: Items were found.

DOWNINGTOWN, Pa. (CBS) – A Montgomery County woman is reaching out to the public in the hopes of recovering two family heirlooms.

Rebecca Dryer-Minnerly, of Pennsburg, says she took her children to Belle Tavern Park after her son had a doctor's appointment in the Downingtown area.

Dryer-Minnerly says that she briefly took off her wedding band and another ring to put sunscreen on her children then may have forgotten to put the rings back on.

One of the rings is a diamond wedding ring in platinum and the other is a two-tone sapphire ring that belonged to her mother.

Dryer-Minnerly is now hoping that someone will come across the rings and return them. Anyone with information should call Downingtown Police or call 609-661-1320.

"These [rings] could never be more valuable or meaningful to anyone but their owner who cherished them and planned to pass them on to a third generation," Rebecca says.
