Montgomery County Officials Nab 9 In Deadbeat Parents Raid
NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) – Montgomery County officials say an overnight raid on Wednesday nabbed nine deadbeat parents.
The raid reportedly spanned Pottstown, Royersford, Norristown, Spring City, Lansdale and Bridgeport.
The following people were arrested:
Alexander Aviles of 121 2nd St., Bridgeport, Pa.
Victor Bellitto of 1011 New Hope St., Norristown, Pa.
Carlos Brown of 1045 Powell St., Norristown, Pa.
Colin Graff of 188 Berwick Pl., Lansdale, Pa.
Lawrence Nash of 133 Oakland Ave., Lansdale, Pa.
John Oplinger of 316 Rowan Alley, Pottstown, Pa.
John Pifath of 807 Arch St., Norristown, Pa.
Christopher Smith of 1705 Locust St., Norristown, Pa.
John Williams of 1441 Willow St., Norristown, Pa.
The nine apprehended reportedly owed a collective $126,704.63 for 11 children.
Five suspects remain at large.
