Montco Middle School Teacher Charged With Sexually Assaulting 2 Students

NORRISTOWN, Pa (CBS) – Montgomery County officials say a middle school teacher has been arrested and charged following the alleged sexual assault of two female students.

Police say Jason Todd Gattuso, 39, of Chalfont, Pa was employed as a social studies teacher at Springfield Township Middle School.

That's where authorities say he met the alleged victims.

Police say the girls were 14 and 15 years old when the incidents took place. The suspect reportedly took the victims to various locations including his car, one of the victim's homes and other locations.

Guttuso has been charged with felony Statutory Sexual Assault, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Aggravated Indecent Sexual Assault, Institutional Sexual Assault, Corruption of Minors and other related charges.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 9.
