Search For Missing Swimmers In Atlantic City Now A Recovery Effort

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS)— The search for two missing swimmers in Atlantic City has now turned into a recovery effort.

The pair went missing on Thursday night near the beach at Martin Luther King Blvd.

The Coast Guard says they received an emergency call stating two swimmers were reportedly struggling in the surf and went under the water at approximately 7 p.m.

Police, fire and the U.S. Coast Guard are all investigating at this time.
