Missing Fishing Boat Found Docked At South Jersey Marina

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) – Officials say they've located a fishing boat that sent out a distress signal over the weekend off the coast of the New Jersey shore.

The Coast Guard in Philadelphia received a Mayday call around 12:45 p.m. Sunday stating a fishing vessel was taking on water and heading into port.

In response, the Coast Guard launched a helicopter from Atlantic City to search for the boat.

On Monday morning, the Coast Guard said it received a call from Somers Point Marina stating that the boat was moored there and the captain or owner of the boat was there also and was unharmed.
