PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A Center City business district held its Fall Festival Saturday for the 9th year.

Corey and Julie Walker and their five-month-old son, Kyle, were enjoying the day at Midtown Village:

"Its a wonderful opportunity to get out and to see what is out here from restaurants that I normally wouldn't go to," Corey tells KYW Newsradio. "And you can get lost in the streets and you can spend hours here."

"We are for bacon wrapped quail egg and other various skewers," adds Julie.

Many others also enjoyed the shopping. Ed Durhan of Center City says he bought a couple of plants:

"This is an air plant. There are two of them and they are wonderful. You submerge them in water and then you let them dry for about a week then you put them back in water."

Beer gardens and mechanical bull rides were also very popular amongst the crowd.
