When the time does come to venture off from the hotel, Rehoboth does not lack for quality dining options. But if you're looking to avoid the overcrowded, overpriced beachfront tourist traps, than you'll find few better options than Michy's Relaxed Dining.
Just a few miles from the Dog Fish Inn, the brand-new Michy's was started by husband-wife duo Richard and Michelle (aka Michy) Davis, and the self-described relaxed nature belies the eye-catching décor and mind-blowing food being offered.

The first thing you'll likely notice is a claw-footed bathtub at the entrance, filled with a nose-tingling mix of plants and herbs. You'll also spot tables made of reclaimed wood, a mirror framed in driftwood, an open kitchen and artwork created by Michelle's brother.
Once the food arrives, however, you'll hardly notice the décor, with a mix of seasonal, seafood-heavy dishes that all seem to have an unexpected touch. From the Szechuan style flash fried calamari to the fire cracker shrimp to the raved about chardonnay-poached pear salad (seriously), you may be tempted to forego the entrees and stick with apps. That said, we don't want to be blamed if you miss out on the for ever braised short ribs, the day boat sea scallops with wild mushroom truffle and pea risotto, or the pistachio crusted mahi mahi.

The cozy bar is prepared to help you quench your thirst, with a surprisingly ample wine list, over 20 beers to choose from (including Fat Tire and Evolution #3 on tap), and a variety of house cocktails like the French Martini, Michy's Margaritas and Beach Vodka Punch.
If this is relaxed, you may never want to go upscale again.
