Men Who Appear To Be Intoxicated Break Into Northeast Philly Burger King

By Steve Beck

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for two apparently intoxicated males who were caught on tape breaking into a fast food restaurant.

The incident happened at about 2:50 a.m. on February 18th at the Burger King located in the 5800 block of Castor Avenue in the city's Oxford Circle section.

The surveillance video starts with the two suspects forcing open the front doors of the business.

Once inside, the suspects flop across the store's counter and into the service area. One of the suspects then flips over and damages a register.

That same suspect then goes into the food preparation area and begins to rummage through what appears to be a case of wrapped hamburger rolls.

At some point during the break-in, one of the suspects seems to become a voice of reason and begins to usher his partner-in-crime out of the food prep area and back over the counter.

The suspects then casually walk out the door and fled on Castor Avenue.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
