Masterman School In Philadelphia Evacuated After Fire Scare: Officials

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia school has been evacuated after reports of a fire. Fire crews were called to Julia R. Masterman School on the 1600 block of Spring Garden Street for reports of a fire around 11:40 a.m. Tuesday.
Arriving firefighters did not find a fire, but there was smoke in the basement.
The school was evacuated. Students have since been let back inside the building.
No word on what caused the smoke.
