Mary Lee The Shark Spends Some Time Down The Shore

AVALON, NJ (CBS) – Twitter's favorite great white shark, Mary Lee, is spending some time down the shore.

Her last ping put her right off the coast of Avalon, near Townsends Inlet.

The media says the shark has become an internet sensation.

The Twitter handle @MaryLeeShark now has more than 74,000 followers. That handle is not affiliated with the company that is tracking her.

"Scientists" speculate Mary Lee could be making her way to Wildwood to ride the Great White rollercoaster on Morey's Pier.
