Marathon Film Session Means Little Sleep For Some Star Wars Fanatics

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) -- The wait is no longer far, far, away for the release of the newest Star Wars film, The Force Awakens.

Some diehards are dedicating their entire day to the new movie.

The Force Awakens makes it seven Star Wars movies, and all are being shown on the big screen in chronological order at the AMC theater at the Neshaminy Mall.

A Star Wars marathon that started at 1 in the morning. How does one get through it?

"Soda, lots of soda."

And a little bit of shut eye as well.

"I'm sleeping right now, you know that front row, I'm sleeping right now because I couldn't make it through."

No sleep, no problem says Brian, whose connection to the franchise runs deep.

"It was always just a realm when I was younger. I remember when I was about 10 or 11 I used to binge watch them over and over again every weekend as much as possible."

And Brian says he's already thinking about how he would get through a marathon when an eighth Star Wars is released.
