Violent Crash Closes Route 38 In Maple Shade

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (CBS) - A violent crash closed Route 38 East in Maple Shade overnight. Police say the driver slammed into a pole near Lenola Road.
The crash happened after 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
When police arrived on scene, they found the driver standing outside of the vehicle.
The driver was taken to Cooper Hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators say excessive speed was a contributing factor.
The crash remains under investigation.
