Maple Shade Police Searching For Person Who Caused $100K In Damage To Several Furs

MAPLE SHADE, NJ (CBS) – Police in Burlington County are trying to find the suspect responsible for causing $100,000 in damage to several furs during an attempted break-in.

On June 8th around 2:32 a.m., police in Maple Shade were called to the Fur Center at 474 Route 38 for a fire alarm.

An investigation revealed that someone had tried to gain entry to the building by cutting through a metal wall in a storage area with a torch.

The torch apparently burned several furs, causing $100,000 worth of damage.

Nothing was taken from the building and the blaze was extinguished.
