Man Stabbed While Riding SEPTA Bus In Olney

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man was reportedly stabbed while riding a SEPTA bus on Friday afternoon.

Police responded to calls of a stabbing on the J Route SEPTA bus near C Street.

One man was reportedly stabbed in the face, and officials say the victim was sitting in front of his attacker.

The victim was transported to Einstein Hospital around 10:14 a.m.

There is no word on his condition at this time.

It's not clear what sparked the stabbing, but witnesses say it appeared to have been unprovoked.
