Spokesperson: Stabbing Victim Walked Into Moorestown Behavioral Health Facility

MOORESTOWN, N.J. (CBS) -- A stabbing victim was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after walking into a behavioral health facility in Moorestown.

Police were called around 5:30 p.m. to the Princeton House Behavioral Health facility on the 300 block of New Albany Road after a 26-year-old man was stabbed.

A spokesperson for the Princeton House Behavioral Health facility tells CBS3 that the victim was not stabbed on their property.

"The person was apparently injured elsewhere and approached the building. Our staff members who were there called 911 to get him immediate assistance," the spokesperson added.

The victim was flown to Cooper Hospital in stable condition.

There is no word on the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.

Police say there is no danger to the public and that they are investigating the incident.
