Man Sought In Double Shooting Is Captured In Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — Atlantic City police have captured a man sought in a shooting that left two people wounded last month.

Rashid McGee was arrested Saturday following a traffic stop.

The 26-year-old Galloway man faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and multiple weapons offenses stemming the Dec. 19 shooting. At the time, he was free on bail after being charged in an unrelated shooting that left two other men wounded.

Authorities have not disclosed a possible motive for either shooting.

Bail was set at $500,000 for McGee. It wasn't known Sunday if he has retained an attorney.
