Man Shot, Wounded In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a shooting overnight in North Philadelphia that left man wounded.

It happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sunday near the 2100 block of West Berks Street.

Police say two men were coming from a Chinese store near 22nd and Cecil B. Moore Avenue when they heard gunshots. One of the men felt a stinging a sensation in his leg and realized he had been shot.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Investigators say it's unclear what led to the shooting at this time.
