Man Shot Twice During North Philly Home Invasion, Robbery

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are searching for the suspects who shot a man during a home invasion robbery Friday morning.

The incident happened at about 8:10 a.m. at a home in the 2900 block of Nicholas Street in North Philadelphia.

According to investigators, at least four males entered the home through a side window.

A 44-year-old man inside the home was shot once in the right leg and once in the left leg.

Investigators say the suspects took a cell phone and $300 in cash before running out the front door.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital in an unknown condition, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.

Anyone with information on the suspects is urged to call 911.
