Restaurant Worker Shot After Trying To Diffuse Situation Between Customer And Another Employee
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say an employee was shot inside a Church's Chicken Sunday evening in North Philadelphia.
It happened just before 5:30 p.m. at the restaurant in the 3600 block of North Broad Street.

Police say a 19-year-old worker was shot three times.
Authorities say there was an argument between a restaurant employee who was cleaning tables and a customer in the dining room.
The employee's 19-year-old brother, also working at the store, stepped in to break up the back and forth when police say the customer pulled the trigger of a large handgun and shot him three times.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and taken into surgery. He is in stable condition, authorities say.
The suspect is described as a black male, 50-60 years old. He was wearing a black Fedora hat, glasses, a black trench coat and black pants.
No arrests have been made.
