Passenger Shoots Driver Multiple Times In West Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police say a driver is fighting for his life after a passenger shot him several times, including once in the head, early Friday morning in West Philadelphia.
This happened shortly after midnight on the 5400 block of Ludlow Street.
An eyewitness, who was also in the car, told police the two struggled, then the gunman shot the driver once in the back of the head and four times in the arm.
The 42-year-old victim was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he is listed in extremely critical condition
Police are hoping surveillance video will help lead them to the suspect as they continue to investigate.
