Authorities: Man Shot And Killed During "Targeted" Home Invasion In Lower Moreland

LOWER MORELAND, Pa. (CBS) -- A man was shot and killed during a targeted home invasion in Lower Moreland, Montgomery County, authorities say.

It happened around 11 p.m. Sunday along the 2300 block of Philmont Avenue.

Authorities say Kevin Brown and his wife were in the master bedroom when the perpetrators entered the room and shot Kevin.

The wife jumped out of the window and Kevin followed behind.

Authorities say he died on the lawn.

At the time of the shooting, Brown's three children were hiding inside the  house, police say. Two of the children are adults and one is 17-years-old.

Police did not say what, if anything, was taken from the home.

No word on any arrests at this time.
