Man Shot Dead Inside Frankford Home

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are searching for the gunman and clues in the shooting death of a man inside his home in the Frankford section of the city.

It happened just before midnight on Friday in the 4300 block of Elizabeth Street.

Police say a 24-year-old man was shot several times in the chest and arms.

The man's distraught sister showed up at the crime scene where she spoke to Eyewitness News.

"He took care of my mother, my sister, he took care of me," she said. "He loves his family."

The circumstances surrounding the man's death were not immediately clear.

Police say they have not made any arrests so far and no descriptions of any suspects have been given.
