Man Shot Dead In Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating the shooting death of man late Saturday morning in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened around 11 a.m. in the 5500 block of Belmar Street.

Police say a 23-year-old man was shot multiple times in the neck, back and shoulder.

He was rushed to Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

It wasn't immediately clear what led to the shooting.

Police say they have no suspects and there was no arrest.
