Man Seriously Injured After Car Collides With Dump Truck In Burlington County

BURLINGTON, N.J. (CBS) -- Two people were injured in an accident invloving a dump truck that shut down a busy intersection in Burlington County, New Jersey.

It happened around 3:45 a.m. near Route 130 and High Street when police say a dump truck collided with car.

Police say the 26-year-old driver of the car was flown to a hospital in Trenton with serious injuries.

The dump truck driver, a 53-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene.

There was no timetable on when the intersection would reopen.

The cause of crash is under investigation.
