Man Killed On Front Porch Of His Townhouse In Bucks County

Bucks County (CBS) -- A suburban Bucks County community is reeling after the murder of a man on the front porch of his townhouse.

Warwick Township Police Chief Mark Goldberg said officers were called to a Jamison townhome just before 8 a.m Thursday, after someone walking their dog saw a body on the porch.

"This is a townhouse community and everybody seemed to to be very familiar and friendly with each other so there was quite a bit of shock and surprise in the neighborhood to see that this had happened," Goldberg said.

He said the victim was 33-year-old Edward Dubinsky of the 26-hundred block of Virginia Lane. An autopsy was conducted and the county coroner determined that the victim was shot once in the head. Goldberg said although the body was found in the morning, it's most likely that the murder happened overnight.
