Man Killed In Shooting Outside Of Storage Facility In Crescentville, Philly Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A man was shot and killed outside of a storage facility in Philadelphia's Crescentville neighborhood Tuesday night, according to police. It happened on the 6200 block of Oxford Avenue around 6:40 p.m.

Police say a 43-year-old man was shot once in the chest outside of the facility. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Witnesses told police that after the shooting a man wearing a red hat walked up to the victim and picked up a cell phone on the ground then walked away.

Police say the victim reportedly rented a storage space at the facility.

No arrests have been made.
