Man Killed In Chestnut Hill Apartment Fire

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One person is dead after an overnight fire at an apartment in Northwest Philadelphia.

Flames broke out just after 1 a.m. Saturday at the Chestnut Hill Village Apartments in the 7600 block Stenton Avenue.

Officials say a man in his 50's was found dead. No other injuries were reported.

The fire was placed under control within an hour.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
