Man In Custody After Standoff In Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police say an apparent dispute between neighbors led to gunfire and ended with a standoff in the Kensington section of the city.

It started shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of Crystal Street.

Police say a woman heard gunshots followed by banging at the back door of her home. Seconds later, 45-year-old Agustin Burgos forced his way inside and the woman ran from the home screaming, according to police.

Police say the women's husband went back into the house and saw Burgos running out the back door and back into his own home.

Authorities say when police arrived, Burgos refused to come out.

SWAT was called to the scene and was eventually able to get inside and take Burgos into custody.

No one was injured.

Burgos has been charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief.
