Man Found Shot Dead Inside Mercedes In North Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police say a man was found dead inside his car, shot multiple times early Friday morning in North Philadelphia.

This happened around 12:30 a.m. at 27th and Silver Streets.

According to police, the 39-year-old victim was found dead inside his Mercedes. At least seven shots were reportedly fired at close range.

"He was found with gunshot wounds to the face and head," Chief Inspector Scott Small says.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say they don't have a motive at this time, but police appear to know who the suspect is they are looking for as an investigation continues.
