Man Found Shot Dead In Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a 29-year-old man has been fatally shot in Camden.

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo said that Quandale Barns was found dead Friday night around 10:30 p.m.

Police responded to the scene after a shooting surveillance system recorded shots fired near Branch Village in the city. Police found a car with several bullet holes and shell casings, but no victims.

Barns was found nearby. He was transported to Cooper Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 11:45 p.m.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
