Man Found Beaten Outside West Chester 7-Eleven

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- Police in Chester County are asking the public for help in identifying four subjects relating to an investigation into a man's beating outside of a 7-Eleven store.

Authorities say officers from West Chester Police Department responded to a report of a fight outside the convenience store on the 200 block of South High Street around 2:20 a.m. Sunday. Arriving officers found a 27-year-old man lying unconscious in front of the store. They say the man was assaulted as he was exiting the store.

According to police, the victim was taken to Paoli Trauma Center in critical condition with facial fractures, a skull fracture and brain trauma.

West Chester police are now trying to identify the three men and one woman seen on surveillance video taken from inside the store.
